• For junior players (under 18), written parental/carer consent is required. - Notice and Signage
• Clear notices will be displayed at the ground when filming or live streaming is taking place.
• All visitors and participants will be advised that footage may be published or shown online by the club. - Respect and Data Protection
• Footage and images must never be used to challenge, dispute, or criticise umpire decisions at any time—during or after a match.
• Any attempt to engage umpires with video footage or images to dispute a decision will result in disciplinary action.
• All content must respect player privacy, dignity, and safeguarding requirements.
• Images or video of individuals will not be published or tagged on social media without permission. - Use of Footage
• Streaming and video is for enjoyment, education, and club promotion only—not as a referral system or to influence match officials.
• Any footage requested by umpires for their own development may be shared only with their explicit agreement. - Responsibilities
• All members are responsible for acting in accordance with this policy.
• Breaches—including engaging umpires with footage over decisions—will result in disciplinary action as set out in the club’s code of conduct. - Raising Concerns
• If any member or visitor has a concern about streaming, filming, or photography, they should raise it immediately with the Club Chairman or Welfare Officer.
This policy will be reviewed annually or as required.
