Junior Cricket will run at Waltham St Lawrence Cricket Club for school years Reception to year 6 throughout the Summer Term. The sessions are run and coached by our professional coach, Jeremy Palmer. Sessions take place on a Monday from 6.00 – 7.30pm.
The sessions will commence on Monday 21st April 2025. There will be 15 Sessions this year and will take place on Bank Holidays and during Half-Term.

Reception – Year 3
Waltham St Lawrence CC and Performance Cricket have teamed up to create a fun and exciting Monday evening cricket club for boys and girls in Reception to Year 3. Our Little Crickets program provides children aged 4-8 years with a perfect introduction to cricket in a relaxed, fun and friendly environment. The sessions are specifically designed to help young children improve their balance and co-ordination, and along the way they learn to catch, throw, bat and eventually bowl with a strong emphasis on fun and games!
PLEASE NOTE: Attendance for Children in Reception is by prior consent only – please contact Andy Malliff to discuss. This is to ensure that the child is physically and emotionally able to take part and enjoy the sessions.
Year 4 – Year 6
Waltham St Lawrence CC and Performance Cricket have teamed up to create a fun and exciting Monday evening cricket club for boys and girls in Year 4-6. The program involves a series of fun drills, activities and games where the children will learn to bat, bowl and field. The emphasis is very much on having fun and often finishing with a game.
